Garden Daisy

 

I was spending the day in Solvang, CA and saw a small garden with daisies.

This particular one was the only one of the bunch not in the shade but in the path of the sun's rays.

I had to be careful at this time because there was a couple of bees making their rounds.  

Black Calla Lilies

 

These are quite beautiful in real life.  I had taken a photo of them against white calla lilies however, the black absorbed the light and it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.

Getting in the spirit of Valentine's Day!

Orchid in the Rain

I was standing on my parents' balcony and the rain started to fall, I grabbed my camera and I instantly got lost in the sound of the shower while looking through the lens capturing different flowers and plant life.  This was my favorite of that sequence.

Hurry Spring!!!

I always called this my "cotton ball tree". 

I took this a few years ago and I still love looking at it.

It's still early but I'm really ready for Springtime.

A Touch of Color

I'm over Winter already.  I cannot wait for Spring!
