The Next Morning

 

The next morning every branch was covered in snow.

Foggy Morning

 

It rained and sleeted the night before and by morning it was unseasonably warm.  You can still see snow on the ground and the road was covered in black ice.  It was eerily quiet and hauntingly beautiful.   I love mornings like these.

Footprints in the Snow

I went out early in the morning to take some pictures and left a trail behind me.  

First Snow of the Year

Morning, January 2, 2012.  We had a storm come through all day yesterday and it continued to fall overnight.  We woke up to roads still blanketed with snow, untouched by plows.  My first winter in a long time and I felt I needed to capture this winter wonderland.

Frosty Window

Went up north for a visit and hadn't been around snow in several years so, naturally, I was excited when I woke up that morning to frost and snow.

Winter Up Close and Personal

It's winter, it's cold; I miss my palm trees and flip flops.   However, I do like the look of snow.
